I'm looking for an afghan pattern that I made about 30 years ago. My friend gave me the pattern, but I believe it came from one of the crochet magazines. The afghan is made with 5 or 6 panels of ecru in the afghan stitch with a diamond pattern of popcorn spaced out along the panel. Along the sides of the panels are three coordinating colors that are worked along the sides. The colors take a triple down and hook to the afghan stitches in intervals so that each row is worked on top of the other and it looks almost like a chevron along the sides. I don't know if I'm explaining this very well, but I can't remember how far the popcorn stitches are spaced and how many stitches between the triples. I do remember that the first row of the triples met the widest part of the diamond. I would be very appreciative of anyone who remembers a pattern like that and knows where I could get a copy. Thanks!
