Mary Ellen, I think you're fantastic for putting your castor oil remedy tip out there and look how much spiralling is happening from that! :D I think I'll look up in my Edgar Cayce The Sleeping Prophet next time I have an ache somewhere!

Patturns, your word Ram~Bulling cracks me up! Of course I get the astrology inference! :D

What a fantastic thing to realize Bear & Horse have always been your animal totems through reminiscing! :D

I just love going back and thinking of happy childhood memories mySelf! Your description of your closet visits sounds cozy and comfy! We used to make our own "tent house" in the living room by draping blankets over the furniture -- it was quite fun when it would collapse on us and we'd collapse in fits of giggles! :lol

I wish I had my first bear, but I think I have my brother's actually! :D I better not tell him or I'll have to give him back! :lol I have almost of all of my first dolls, including two very special ones that each Gram made for me! :D They're a little worn out now (I'm 37) but I proudly show them off in a corner 5-shelf display in our spare bedroom. My one and only Barbie Doll is a Malibu Barbie (1970??) which I'm real glad I kept! I never had any toy horses, my sister was the horse nut in our house! :lol We had ponies when I was a kid, I never got over being thrown when I was about 7 or 8?? They tried to tell me if you fall off a horse to get right back on...

When I was a kid, we had a black and white TV that got a whopping three channels! :D Now, we have satellite with 100+ channels -- isn't modern technology amazing!

I do believe I have every book I've ever owned, except for the unfortunate year I decided to sell my Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys collection, most were the old hard-bound cloth covers too, in my Mom's annual yard sale. I think I was about 17 years ago and probably needed gas $. Crazy darn kid huh! :o Books were my refuge as a child. I could escape into a whole new world by reading. We have a little synchronicity with names of our favorite childhood companions Patturns! While your Timmy was a bear, mine was the book Timothy Tiger! My Gram remembers that book was my favorite too! :D Thank goodness she was a sweet, patient Gram that never, ever tired of reading to us kids! :D

What was your favorite game? Mine was playing school with my little brother and sister as my *students*! :lol

Patturns wrote: "The Child Self is taught early that upon reaching a certain age it will no longer be acceptable to be a Child. It is then Time to grow up. In response to this.. let's invite our Child Self to come out and play. This must certainly be an important part of the Whole Self needed to maintain Balance."

That certainly sounds like a wonderful idea to me! :lol Now, I don't need to have MY arm twisted to have my Child Self come out and play!!! Have you read Richard Bach's Illusions? I think I posted an excerpt in White Feather Forum which I'm thinking is something like this: "We humans are the playful otters of the Universe." I really like that! God/Creator/Source gave us the gift to born with the sense of innonence and playfulness of a child and a wonderful sense of humour! :D Some of us forget sometimes what it's like to be an innocent child, finding delight in playing simple games, finding joy in watching a bug, finding love by crawling into Mommy or Daddy's or Grammy or Grampy's lap!

Sometimes I dance in my meadow -- I just twirl around and around like I did when I was a kid -- it's fun! :lol
